Hybrid battery modules & cells
Individual modules, capacity-tested and graded, for rebuilders and owners repairing their own pack. It is the cheapest way into a hybrid battery repair and the easiest one to get wrong — both halves of that are worth knowing before you order.
What you are buying
A nickel-metal hydride hybrid pack is a series string of modules. Sell one module and you are selling one link in that chain — which only helps if the rest of the chain is in comparable condition.
Every module we sell is priced and sold as a single module, not as a pack. Each one is charged and discharged five times on the bench and its capacity measured across those cycles, then graded — and we tell you the grade. Five cycles rather than one because a tired module can pass a single test and then fall away as soon as it is worked; what you want to know is whether it holds capacity repeatedly. A module sold without a capacity figure is a module nobody measured.

When buying single modules is a mistake
The most common way this goes wrong
Someone replaces the one module that failed, the car runs well for a few weeks, and then a different module fails. The pack was uniformly tired; the failed one was simply first. Replacing the weakest link in a worn chain buys weeks, not years.
Single modules make sense when the rest of the pack has been tested and is genuinely healthy — a pack that suffered one early failure rather than one that has aged out. If you have not measured the other modules, you do not yet know which situation you are in.
Grading, and what the numbers mean
- Capacity is measured under load, not from resting voltage. Resting voltage on a tired module looks almost normal, which is why it is the wrong measurement.
- Modules are matched into sets on request, so a multi-module order arrives with a tight spread rather than as individually acceptable but mismatched parts.
- Internal resistance is recorded alongside capacity, because a module can hold capacity and still run hot under load.
Vehicles we supply this for
Fitment is confirmed from your VIN before you order — on several of these the model year alone is not enough to identify the right pack.

Toyota Prius
2004–2015 · NiMH
$29per module
The pack we sell most. Second- and third-generation Prius packs are module-built, which is what makes a properly refurbished one a genuine option rather than a gamble.

Toyota Highlander Hybrid
2006–2019 · NiMH
$63per module
Larger, heavier pack with more interior disassembly to fit. Worth reading the fitment notes before ordering.

Toyota Avalon Hybrid
2013–2018 · NiMH
$29per module
Shares much of its hybrid architecture with the Camry Hybrid of the same era.

Can I just replace the one bad module in my hybrid battery?
Do modules come with capacity ratings?
Do you sell modules for lithium-ion packs?
Send us your VIN and we will confirm the exact pack.
Model year alone is not always enough — some of these vehicles changed chemistry or pack packaging mid-run. Checking costs nothing and prevents a return.
